Hadeed Pourshafighi is a professional session musician, music producer and composer from the Gold Coast. His musical education is the cultivation of self-driven passion and formal education, having received his Bachelor of Popular Music in 2010 from the Queensland Conservatorium. Skilled in many musical trades and genres, Hadeed’s marriage of convention and experimental approach to music gives him a unique angle that helps push through the platitude of an oversaturated music industry.
Hadeed’s main instruments of choice are the guitar and voice, having studied classical and contemporary voice from internationally renowned vocal and guitar teachers such as Dr Roslyn Dunbar-Wells and Jose McLaughlin (Jerry and The Pace Makers). As a composer and producer, Hadeed’s creativity and confidence draws fellow musicians to him to bring life to their music, which has led to projects with local and nationally recognised artists and film productions. Hadeed has had several trance singles featured on Gold Coast’s 105.7 Radio Metro, and currently plays in the progressive rock band “Simulation”.
Hadeed gives back to the community that supported him in his beginnings by passing on his knowledge as a qualified educator at Merrimac State High School as head of classroom music, as well as lending his professional quality film composing to up and coming film makers. As well as being a musician, Hadeed is an avid graphic designer, holds a post-graduate diploma in teaching (2012) and gained his Bachelor of Interactive Entertainment (Animation) from QANTM College in 2007.
